ABOUT THE PROJECT

Objectives

The project is based on the achievement of four (4) main objectives:

1. To engage directly with the target groups and create a dynamic and interactive environment for them to express openly their digital literacy needs, challenges, and concerns.

2. To develop comprehensive training materials, customized to the specific digital needs and skill gaps of women above 45 years old, considering their unique backgrounds and challenges, and covering four (4) important areas of digital literacy, namely digital marketing, website development, social media management, and data analysis.

3. To apply the training curriculum in action, by engaging with the target groups in real time, informal teaching activities, providing both theoretical and hands-on experience in real-world scenarios.

4. To facilitate peer-to-peer learning for digital skills and cooperation/networking opportunities for real-world projects, through a platform that will serve as an open space for sharing and exchanging ideas and experiences.

Target Groups

  • Women above 45 y/o who are willing to start their own businesses but lack the modern digital skills needed.
  • Women above 45 y/o who are either employed or unemployed and wish to enhance their digital knowledge with practical training materials.
  • Marginalized women above 45 y/o without access to training materials or funds to receive paid training.

Activities & Results

1. Digital Focus Groups for in-depth digital skills assessment of women, providing a space for them to express their needs and challenges, as well as to map the current situation of female digital literacy in the partner countries and produce corresponding National Reports.

2. Development of tailored curriculum on digital skills, customized based on the identified needs and challenges, and covering the main four (4) areas of digital literacy, namely digital marketing, website development, social media management, and data analysis.

3. Training for Learners, engaging women above 45 y/o from all target groups’ categories into real-time application of the curriculum into practice.

4. Development of Crowdsourcing Platform, serving as an open, online space for women to exchange ideas and experiences, as well as network and collaborate on the development of real-time projects.

RESULTS

National Reports on the Challenges and Digital Skill Gaps of Women over 45 years old in Greece and Spain.

These two National Reports analyze the implementation and findings of the local focus groups, organized by the project partners, among women above 45 years old in Greece and Spain, in order to conduct an in-depth analysis of their digital skill gaps, and identity areas for intervention by the project tailored curriculum.

 
 
Recorded Lectures of the DREAM Tailored Curriculum

This section provides access to the recorded lectures developed as part of the DREAM project’s tailored curriculum. These lectures were delivered by experts and cover key themes and modules designed to support the project’s educational goals. Each video is accompanied by a short description, offering context and helping viewers follow the content more easily.

 

DREAM Consolidated Training Booklet

This booklet brings together the full DREAM curriculum, developed to empower women aged 45+ with essential digital skills. Covering digital marketing, social media, website development, funding opportunities, and inspiring success stories from Greece and Spain, it provides a hands-on guide for entrepreneurial growth and digital readiness
