The project based on a user-centric learning method with a practical application in real-world examples, providing middle-aged women with the digital skills needed. The project aims to provide 4 free online digital training sessions to women +45 who are entrepreneurs or businesswomen through a practical, easy and dynamic learning method.

Why this project?
The DREAM Project will have a positive impact on the lives of women over 45, providing them with digital knowledge and skills to start their business, or enhance it. They will also be able to empower themselves, improve visibility, as well as their professional recognition, improve gender inclusion and create opportunities for the exchange of learning.

AFAEMME & BALKAN WOMEN COALITION
Afaemme is the Association of Organizations of Mediterranean Businesswomen, launched in 2002 in Barcelona comprises today 63 member organizations from 24 Mediterranean countries. The Balkan Woman Coalition is a non-profit, non-governmental organization, established in 2022 and based in Thessaloniki, that supports women’s entrepreneurship, social development and cohesion in the Balkan area.
Kick off Meeting in Greece
Partners met on June 4-5 in Thessaloniki, Greece, for the inaugural meeting. A brainstorming session and review of the beginning of the project actions, with the objective of getting to know each other and planning the implementation of the following activities. Two enjoyable and productive sessions in which the partners exchanged ideas and proposals and established great synergies.
DREAM Presentation in Spain
On June 20, we presented the DREAM Project during a session of the Jump4Women Program in Barcelona. This program is an initiative of Foment del Treball Nacional that seeks to accelerate the growth of Startups led by women in the fields of health and biotechnology. They selected 20 female entrepreneurs from the health and biotechnology sector in Spain. Mastering digital skills is important in all sectors!
